MyBHA is an Association registered with the Registrar of Societies under the Societies Act 1966 (Societies Regulations 1984) under the name of the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association “MyBHA”. The association was formed in 2001 under the initiative of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir who was the past Minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism with objective to represent the common interests of all budget hotels in Malaysia.

MyBHA is now responsible in representing, facilitating and assisting with a strong voice for licensed and registered budget & business hotels in Malaysia towards bringing and / or escalating all issues faced by the members to the responsible and relevant parties and/or agencies in enhancing the image of the budget & business hotel industry under three stars hotels.

• To represent the interests of the budget & business hotel or resort industry owners and/or operators particularly our members.

• To foster the economic and professional growth as well as contributing to the community development and the sustainability of the budget & business hotel or resort industry.

• To become the most effective Industry and/or trade association representing the budget & business hotel or resort Industry in Malaysia.

• To represent the common interest of all the budget & business hotels or resorts in Malaysia and specifically the members of association.

• Foster goodwill and co-operation among budget & business hotels or resorts in Malaysia.

• To promote good relations between the association and the government and the public in general.

• To make representation to the relevant government agencies, authorities and parties on behalf of the members.

• To co-operate with other organizations, parties or individuals, if such co-operation is deemed to further assist in the attainment of the objectives of the association.

• To promote good business ethics and standards among members.

• To foster a culture of interactive sharing of information among members for the long term benefits of the members.

• To promote excellent services and skills among employees of the members for the long term benefits of the members.

• To deal, directly and indirectly with matters pertaining to the administration of the association such as the purchase or disposal of assets, prior of the approval of the registrar of societies and the relevant authorities and other acts requiring the attention of the association.
